To shine requires a lot of heart, tenacity and work.
Our vintage Airstream is 100% ours, whether it be dull or shiny. So far, it has been a labor of love. Speaking of labor, Brian has been stripping (NOT THAT KIND OF STRIPPING!) the clear coat and Louisiana swamp gunk off the shell, making it less blah and on its way to super shiny. The real shine appears when we begin the lengthy polishing process. We have heard frightening rumors that it will take 200+ hours to polish the darn thing. I'm hoping to get in some polishing so I can beef up my scrawny arms. Brian is lucky...he already has Popeye arms. The effort will be worth the pain, and we will always smile when we think of our once dull Airstream. The dullness makes the shiny all the better.
If things around you seem dull and you long for shine, shift those thoughts in your mind and it will change your heart.
